Students vs Staff: Ball Hockey Edition
Students and staff faced off in the first installment of our best of 3 series on November 23.
Our first event, ball hockey, featured three student teams: Grade 7/12 students, Grade 8/11 students and Grade 9/10 students. All students were welcome to sign up - no prior experience required. Each team took on the staff team in turn, with the cumulative score of the three games determining the winner. In the end, our staff edged out the students with a tight 2-1 victory, taking a 1-0 series lead.
Running throughout the year, the series will allow staff and students to try their hand at a number of sports. The victorious team will win a coveted dress-down day later in the year. The next game (sport to be announced) will take place in January.
