Outdoor Leadership

The Outdoor Leadership Program (OLP) is core to life and education at Greenwood.

Outdoor Leadership fuses three of the key pillars of a Greenwood education – experiential learning, character development and environmental stewardship. Students gain the opportunity to learn, embrace physical challenges and cultivate a lifelong love of the outdoors.

OUTDOOR LEADERSHIP PROGRAM COMPONENTS
• Intensive in that the entire school community is engaged in outdoor leadership activities outside
Toronto, for two weeks of every year;
• Progressive in that students will confront new and more daunting challenges every year;
• Curricular in that core course material is incorporated into each outdoor experience.
